#TeamHerts sponsor Disability Coach of the Year Award at Herts Sports Partnership Awards

#TeamHerts Volunteering attended the Herts Sports Partnership Awards on 1st December sponsoring the Disability Coach of the Year  Awards category.



Held at the University of Hertfordshire, the awards celebrated the contribution that volunteers, education and sports clubs had made in 2016. 53 trophies were awarded on the night to sports volunteers and #TeamHerts Volunteering awarded three trophies to winners of the Disability Coach of the Year Award to David Brown, Disability Badminton (3rd place), Malcolm Wallace, Services to Athletics (2nd place) and winner Lee Welch from Everyone Active (1st place) who runs a series of disability and mobility classes in a bid to build confidence in people with disabilities and limited mobility. 

#TeamHerts felt privileged to be part of the event and celebrate the work of volunteers in sport across the County.
